I started my career with a dream of becoming a great therapist, but as I gained more experience, I realized it wasn't the job for me. It was a tough realization after years of preparing myself for this career, but I knew I had to find a new path. That's when I stumbled upon the Neuromatch Academy course and found my passion for technology and data.

At first, I aimed to become a Data Scientist, but as I researched more, I discovered the field of Data Analysis and decided to pursue it. I began learning Python and took some certifications in Big Data and Data Analysis. However, I felt like I still lacked the technical skills needed for the job, so I decided to enrol in the Google Data Analytics Certification course.

During the certification, I discovered that my prior education in qualitative research had given me a strong foundation in data analysis. However, I needed to improve my technical skills to match my passion. That's when I started learning Excel and spreadsheets, as well as SQL to better process and analyze data. I'm also excited to improve my visualization skills with Tableau, so I can present my findings in an easily understandable way.

I know the journey to becoming a data analyst can be overwhelming, but I want to share my experience to help others know that they're not alone. Whether you're just starting or considering a career change, I hope to provide some guidance and inspiration on this path.
